I can't do all the things
The last few weeks I'd slowly been feeling more and more overwhelmed with life, the sheer number of work, personal, family, and life admin tasks have been stacking up. Finally making progress
WELL. It’s been quite a fortnight , trying to a) catch up on an increasingly overwhelming workload at work, b) tame our house that got out of control during the cyclone scare, c) manage extra kids stuff including medical appointments - all while battling some mood and energy issues that have meant I have NOT felt myself. The suns out!
Very happy to report that it stopped raining Monday afternoon and the flood waters mostly receded overnight so we could all return to work and school on Tuesday. Sunshine on my Tuesday lunch break Monday was basically a screen free-for-all for the kids. I did some work but was still quite distracted. By maybe 3 or 4 it finally stopped raining.
