Possibly a broken arm

Unfortunately O's forearm/wrist is still sore. If we hold his arm straight out, it can bend and flex without pain which is good, but when we try to gently rotate it, it hurts him alot. (Its fine if his palm faces down, but not up).

Given today is day 5 of the injury, without any improvement to the rotating related pain (the bending of the wrist etc is fine now), its time to take him to the medical clinic and probably get an x-ray. He's been at school the last two days without an issue, mainly because he is a very careful kid who didn't let his arm be bent in any painful way. So its clearly not a serious break. But it could be a small fracture.
Al has to work in the shop today, and I had planned to work from home with only one short online meeting, so I'm the one who has flexibility to take him. I'm glad to be able to do it, but also this week is busy in many ways (work and social activities in the evenings), so adding a doctor/hospital visit which will probably take a few hours by the time we get an x-ray, is not ideal. But over many years of parenting now I've learnt to just accept these "spanner in the works" when it comes to kids.
I'll report back!
