Much better!

Writer: SophieSophie

Happy to report E is better- looks like it was just a nasty virus. After coming home from the hospital on Monday evening, E slept well, and slept in until 7.30.

She had a mild headache on Tuesday, so Al and I had a nervous wait to see how it developed, but she took pain killers and drank water, and within a few hours it was gone. Today she’s had no headache and seems to have her energy back, so it seems after 7 days of headaches, she’s finally better. Such a relief, and good timing because we have alot planned with family and friends the next few days!

Waiting to meet Santa

In fun news, we took the kids to meet Santa and take a photo today. They got to have a chat until the photo, then we had a coffee and they had a play after.

Chatting with Santa

Then after a few hours at home with kids on screens while I worked, I took O took his 4 year old immunisations- the last until he’s 12! After the rude shock of the needle, he recovered within a minute, helped by a lollipop.

Two more days of work to go before 3 weeks of annual leave! I’m ready for a good break.

Hope everyone’s week is going well so far!

Hooray! This is great news! Glad she's better and you guys can do all the fun holiday things.

I'm envious of your three week break- you can tell us all about it so I can live vicariously.

I’m so glad that E is feeling better! Phew! What a stressful situation!

The Santa pictures are great. What a legit Santa! Both of my boys are just terrified of Santa and have no interest in getting close to him. Will’s daycare is doing breakfast with Santa on Friday. I am picturing Will hiding in the corner during that. Ha.

Haha O wouldnt have been brave if it wasn’t for his sister! He wouldn’t sit next to him on his own, only on my knee. And he made funny faces so we didn’t end up with any normal smiling ones- oh well…
